The Beltrami County Sheriff's
Office, based in Bemidji, Minnesota has recently gone live with LETG's full suite
of public safety software. The software system, which facilitates additional communication
with and among officers in the field, will increase officer productivity and safety
countywide.
After an extensive evaluation
process, LETG was chosen as the best fit for the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office
along with both the Bemidji and Blackduck Police Departments, based upon LETG's
comprehensive products and services, its integration with state systems, a proven
implementation track record and local support capabilities.
"We have been very impressed
with the LETG system so far" said Sheriff Phil Hodapp. "We look forward to a long
and successful relationship with LETG."
"On behalf of LETG we consider
ourselves fortunate to have these agencies as partners" said Dean Gutzke, Regional
Sales Director at LETG. "With their law enforcement process knowledge and LETG's
proven product innovation, we expect the ongoing use of the system to deliver greater
efficiencies and lower operating costs, better addressing the public safety needs
of Beltrami County."
The combined Beltrami County
and LETG implementation team worked diligently to complete the project in 13 weeks
and it could not have been accomplished without the commitment and support from
county dispatchers, deputies, correction officers, police officers, records personnel
and technical staff.
The project was the second
phase of a technology upgrade that initially equipped county squad cars with laptops,
printers and drivers license readers. The LETG software will be used by 90 law enforcement
personnel and in 45 vehicles throughout the county.
