The Minnesota Department of Commerce (MN DoC) goes live with LETG. Under Governor Tim Pawlenty, the MN DoC established a Law Enforcement Investigative Division to better track and investigates fraudulent insurance clams. As such, according to the Commerce Department, “the State was in need of a state-of-the-art Records Management System and Case Management System to improve the ability of its Insurance Fraud Prevention Investigative Division to perform its responsibilities.” It was clear to the MN DoC Investigative Division, after their formation, that their current tools were not adequate to support their new charter. They needed a feature rich case management system. With the new LETG system, the MN DoC Investigative Division have realized benefits due to the ability to input any type of digital evidence into their cases, assign tasks and track tasks as they arise, track evidence within each case, customize the system to their specific needs, control and share information internally and externally, generate reporting for internal and external purposes, conduct investigations, and retain historical evidence to the level required by police agencies. MN DoC is pleased with the time savings and other efficiencies that the LETG applications offer. LETG is extremely pleased to provide its comprehensive browser-based RMS application to the State of Minnesota for their stated needs.
