In June 2007, LETG and the Metropolitan Council entered into a contract for the full eMERTS™ suite of products for the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD). For several years, MTPD has enjoyed LETG’s eMERTS™ Mobile and Field Reporting applications. With this upgrade MTPD will have access to LETG’s comprehensive browser-based Records Management System, eMERTS™ RMS, and Positron’s IQ/CAD applications.

MTPD offers police services to the largest transit system across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. MTPD has 118 police officers and works closely with the Minneapolis, St. Paul, Airport, and Bloomington Police Departments. LETG’s suite of integrated applications will allow MTPD to become more efficient in their reporting processes and will help keep their officers safe.
